Carla is a recovering economist, aspiring cartoonist and the founder of Tall Tale Pictures.  After honing her creative side for 15 years teaching economics in the university, she began a writing and filmmaking career, starting first as script and continuity supervisor on many films before trying her own hand at screenplay writing and directing. She wrote and directed the Star Citizen fan show, Galactic Inquiry, and her first short film is currently in the festival circuit where it has won two Best Comedy awards, including Best International Zombie Short.

When the fans of Star Citizen rose up against their Creator, Carla was swept up in the tsunamic crowd and deposited on a beach far from any cell phone tower. Using an ice skate recovered from the wreckage, Carla scratched out the first 42 chapters of her epic best selling novel, Casting Call. Carla was recently invited to dine with the Queen where she claimed she would demonstrate excellent table manners.

Dan began his 3-D graphics career as a holographic artist for Zebra Imaging creating data sets for 3-D holograms. Dan’s career began at the University of Central Florida where he received a BSE in Computer Engineering, Just out of college, he worked at Singer-Link Flight Simulation as an engineer/programmer on the F-16 flight simulator and as a software engineer at NASA on the next generation mission control at the Johnson Space Center.

After moving to Austin with oil and gas R&D company Magic Earth, Dan retired from computer programming when Halliburton bought the company for an obscene amount of stock just before the stock value fell to near zero. Penniless and without a coat to his name, Dan wandered the streets calling out the name of his dear old mom until a fair young maiden heard his plaintive cries. Her kiss returned him to his princely status and they were married on the bow of the newly raised Titanic and honeymooned on the International Space Station with Russian oligarchs and the ghost of  Leonard Nimoy.

Michael started in production in 1988 as a 3D animator/compositor for a large architectural firm in Houston TX where he received an intense introduction to light, form, color, and composition as well as experience in visual effects, compositing, editing, and directing. After a couple years as a freelance broadcast graphics designer, he moved to Austin in 1995 to work as a writer, director, and animator for computer game developer, Origin Systems. In 2006, Michael became a full-time cinematographer, shooting hundreds of commercials, music videos, industrials, and feature films.

Michael’s life took a hard left turn during production of, “Mama Dearest,” when the star of that film lost her mind after shooting 157 takes staring at her reflection in a koi pond and had Michael banished to a remote village in Tibet where he spent seven years learning the ancient wisdom of the monks and hacking into the IRS data base to erase his tax debt.

Upon returning to the US, Michael joined the Sicilian mafia where he pledged undying allegiance to his Don in exchange for perpetual upgrades in Red camera packages.  Lenses are extra.
