here’s how we bring your story to life
Step One
We will come meet with you and talk about the story you want to tell. At that time you might show us photo albums and memorabilia you would like to include or tell us about the other people or locations you would like us to include. We will walk you through the process of making the documentary and decide the exact package and its cost up front. There is no charge for this interview! If you decide not to do it, then we all just made a friend and we’ll leave it at that.
Step Two
Once you’ve decided to go forward, we put together interview questions based on your information and sit down with you in your home, workplace or other relevant location and conduct the interview. At this point, you pay only half our fee up front. We can gather much more footage than we need and select only the best. We may interview other people as well. We will collect all “B” footage in your home, work or other location depending upon the package we have put together with you. And we’ll find out your musical tastes for the sound track. You may even have music you wrote yourself that we can use.
Step Three
Your part is done! We go back to our studio and string it all together, add relevant stock footage, sound effects and music. Then we bring it to you for a final edit. Give us your feedback on any tweaks you’d like to make or small additions. Once we make those changes, we are done! You pay us the second installment, and we will deliver your mini-docYoumentary on a wide range of formats including DVD, USB, Blu-Ray, or online.
